You can replace the lamp while the projector is mounted to the ceiling, if necessary. Turn off the projector and unplug the power cord. Allow the projector lamp to cool down for at least one hour. Use the screwdriver included with the replacement lamp to loosen the screw securing the lamp cover.

How do I check the bulb life on my projector?

Current projectors have an item in the menu called “Information” which includes lamp hours. If your projector is an older model, you can press and hold the Power ON/OFF button on the projector for approx. 20 seconds and the lamp hours will be displayed on the screen for a brief period of time.
