Why doesn’t my Xbox make a sound when I turn it on?

Hi, have you tried power cycling the console? Doing it can fix most problems including bringing back the startup and eject sounds. To power cycle, press and hold the power button down on the console until it turns off, then wait a few seconds and turn back on. Hopefully that should fix your issue.
