What is KYWI?
The KYWI is a Kydex Wedge Insert. Its hourglass shape acts like a double leaf spring, holding a mag in place even when inverted. What are WTF straps?
WTFix Straps are made to be weaved in and out of pals webbing. They are laser cut and soft and feel like rubber (NOT hard plastic). They are made for milspec pals webbing spacing but can work on belts with webbing but might not be the best option for belts with webbing.
Are Esstac mag pouches good?
Magazine retention has been excellent for both the AR and pistol pouches, with mag insertions a breeze. The lock-up between the inner and outer belts, when loaded up, has been tight. I’ve experienced no wiggling loose or shearing when on the move. And it has been very easy to swap pouches in and out as needed.
